Organization For the Internet Marketer

Organization as an Internet marketer and affiliate is well at times next to impossible but over the years I have found a few ways to make life easier which I will share with you today in hopes it may help you along your chosen path. 1) A must have is no less then 2 notebooks on hand and a pen handy at all times I suggest using one for Websites and log in information as hard drives do crash, Slips of paper do amazingly go missing in a very short time and this back up will be a life saver in the event you have computer problems. 2)Gmail email accounts (Thank the powers that be for gmail) I suggest no less then 2 accounts as you will be signing up to many news letters, websites, Traffic Exchanges, Safelists , the list goes on and on and with Gmail you can easy keep track by filtering your email by sender and applying a label to them this truly is a blessing as well as it has great spam filtering. You simply can't go wrong with gmail. 3)Make folders for your downloads, downloads and more downloads,From e-books, programs, graphics as well as promotional material. You want to separate these as much as possible for quick reference. Another help is the folder names , keep them simple but yet descriptive of the contents. 4)Filing of your Paper records is also a must even though your working online there still is a surprising amount of paper that must be held on to so I follow the basic principles of above for both online and offline filing, Many descriptive folders kept in a filing cabinet of course ;) 5) Time management this is one of the hardest to accomplish as time on the computer flies by very quickly. I have found that most people who work online from home work rather crazy hours and later in the night always seems more productive for me. Sleep patterns vary but usually i find myself working away until I am quite tired then catch roughly 4 hours sleep continue with my day then grab another 4 later on. As strange as this may seem it seems to be quite normal among Internet marketers and affiliate marketers alike. Why? I am not quite sure but hey if it works I am all for it.
Generally a regular schedule would be checking email for news and upcoming events of the day. Replying to email. and yes dare I say it deleting the junk yes I admit there is way too much of it out there these days. Next would be checking on daily sales, new leads and down line members in various programs, Welcoming them and offering some tips to help them along their way. Then I usually do a bit of surfing at my favorite traffic exchanges, Yes they do indeed work if used properly. Later in the night is when I become most creative and do my site/blog updates and maintenance. 6) I also keep my affiliate login information and passwords on a very handy little program that has made life a lot easier as well. Feel free to download a completely free copy on my site which I usually keep strictly for newsletter subscribers but if you have read this far you deserve a treat :) 7) Try and keep up with the very busy social media by keeping in contact with like mined people though the various social networks and of course family time, yes indeed it can be quite a challenge staying organized these days LOL :) I hope you have enjoyed this article.
